Foundations in Maintenance Excellence and World Class Manufacturing (WCM)

Provide awareness of the Foundational elements of Engineering and Maintenance Excellence, in particular with areas that work best when Maintenance and Non-Maintenance resources collaborate. Training will cover the entire foundation of a classic Maintenance Excellence pyramid. Includes integration of Continuous Improvement and how Maintenance plays an important role in World Class Manufacturing (WCM).

What is Maintenance Excellence?

Maintenance Excellence implies minimizing maintenance problems and costs while maximizing equipment reliability and plant availability. It also implies smooth cooperation between Maintenance and Non-Maintenance groups.

What is WCM (World Class Manufacturing)?

Set of concepts and techniques for operating, maintaining, and managing a company, with emphasis on Lean techniques. The concepts extend well beyond traditional manufacturing and into any industrial process.
